ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

The Centre may admit any person including corporate entities and professionals as Associate members and prescribe qualifications and criteria for such membership. In a case of Lawyers who apply to be considered as Associate Members, the criteria are as follows:

• A minimum of five years standing at the Bar;
• Proven competence in as area relevant to arbitration, mediation or conciliation; and
• High moral character and impeccable integrity.

Associate Members once admitted may participate in all proceedings and deliberations of the Centre but without the right to vote. The qualification with respect to members of other professions will be determined by the Centre in consultation with the relevant professional bodies. The membership fee in this category is a $US100 or its equivalent in Cedis and may be revised by the Council from time to time as the case may be.
